Supplementing with glucosamine and chondroitin sulfates can provide significant benefit for musculoskeletal support.* Chondroitin sulfates, a category of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), are required for the formation of various important components of joint cartilage.* These two nutrients – glucosamine and chondroitin – support joint function and mobility by enhancing the body's production of GAGs and preventing their degradation.* Clinical research indicates that supplementing with chondroitin sulfates supports joint structures.* Some studies have concluded that the combination of glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate protects and supports joint surfaces more effectively than glucosamine sulfate alone.*

How did your clinic visit go?

 FAQ

+ How do I get into the clinic? What’s the parking situation?

There are two entrances to the Loring Corners building. 1624 is the main entrance facing Loring Park and you can gain access by dialing 205 at the intercom. Please note there is no elevator access at this entrance and there is one floor of stairs to get to our unit. For elevator access, you may use the 1645 entrance which is around the corner from Cafe Lurcat to the right, however there is no intercom access at this location; so please let staff know in advance if you are going to use this entrance by texting or calling our clinic number and I will come let you in. There is metered parking available in front of both entrances for $1/hour.

+ What does a typical treatment look like?

Your first visit (and once a year) is always a full chiropractic exam which includes taking a thorough health history, performing various orthopedic and neurological exams to assess your baseline and deciding on a treatment plan that feels like a good fit according to exam results. I will make recommendations based on exam findings and together we will figure out what might work best for you going forward. After any needed therapies, I will assess the motion and restrictions within the spine and extremities, do some light muscle work and percussion massage and then move into adjustments. Ultimately, you are in charge of your care in the clinic. I will make recommendations and if at any point you feel uncomfortable or want any part of the treatment to stop, you are always fully empowered to let me know and I will work with you to find a way to adjust and treat that is suitable and comfortable for you.
You should allow about an hour for the first treatment, although it typically takes less time. Every visit moving forward will be about 20-30 minutes and will consist of any elective therapies as well as a much shorter spinal exam and adjustment.

+ Do you take insurance?

Unfortunately Evren Chiropractic is currently not taking insurance. You are welcome to utilize your HSA or pay out of pocket for treatments. See below for financial accessibility.

+ What if I can’t afford treatment?

We know chiropractic care can seem out of reach financially, particularly with the insurance credentialing process underway. If you feel that finances are restricting you from getting care, please let us know and we are committed to finding a way to make it work for you. This may include filling out brief paperwork regarding financial hardship or organizing payments into a package to have more flexibility. If you have a bit more financial freedom, we encourage you to consider contributing additional payment at the end of your treatment so that the next patient coming in may get their care for free or at a more accessible price. I never want financial hardship to be the reason you do not receive care. If my clinic doesn’t feel like the right fit for you, I am happy to offer referrals to trusted colleagues in the area.

+ Can I get x-rays at Evren?

Evren does not currently have an x-ray suite however many of our patients utilize RAYUS (previously CDI) which has multiple locations throughout the metro area. If any imaging is warranted, I will happily refer you to one of their locations and will review the imaging results with you once they are complete.
